When choosing an eternity band, start by deciding how far around the ring you want the diamonds to extend: a full eternity band, three-quarter eternity band or half eternity band. Then consider the diamond setting, with options including prong, channel and bezel settings.

Can I Resize My Eternity Band Later?

A full eternity band cannot easily be resized because the diamonds continue around the entire ring, leaving little room to adjust the size. A half-eternity or three-quarter eternity band can generally be resized because there is an area of gold or platinum available for the jeweller to work with. When you order an eternity ring from us, we will send you a ring sizer so you can determine the right fit before your ring is made.

Should I Buy an Eternity Band or Half-Eternity Band?

An eternity band symbolizes an unbroken bond, so if that symbolism is important to you, a full eternity band may be the right choice. However, a half-eternity band generally costs less and can be better suited to an active lifestyle, with solid gold or platinum at the back instead of diamonds.  A three-quarter eternity band offers a middle ground, with diamonds extending far enough around the ring to create the appearance of a full eternity band while generally allowing for resizing.
